The project was assigned to me at a time when one of the prime festivals of the city of Kolkata, that is Durga Puja, was approaching. Hoardings were being put up and the frames of the widely known festival’s attraction, “pandals, was in the process of making. Stores were filled with buyers to dress up for the pujo. Being a Bengali myself, I was consumed in the environment of preparing for pujo as well. Hence, this concept has been chosen to reflect on my cultural sentiments.
